Queen of France

The Facet Names: France: Surnames to Castles

The Castle Facet Names of France:

The facet list below represents grouped castle surnames, with shorter derivatives.
Facet Letters
The letters are usually only 3 letters; either starting, centering or ending the original Castle name.
For Example, for Therese, The Queen's of France's, Facet Groups are: Vau, Fon, Guy, Roc, Ber, Ang, Sei, Van, Fau, Ave, Bar, Bour, Bel, Bri, Cas, Cha, Cor, Com, Cou, Fer, Ger, Lor, Lou, Mah, Mer, Mey, Mont, Mou, Roh, Sav, Tour, Trè, Val, Ver, Vas, Yèv
Each facet group listed below, hopefully will each have at least 10 Castles.
The larger the grouping of these inherited Castles from our Facet keeping ancestors, the more persons interested to participate in this exciting historical rebuild adventure.
An adventure, that will hopefully bring many of you to Europe, to experience life a little differently, as Castle Builders, even start a Collective Business, be part of European networking, etc, with our combined topic of restoring "Castles" from the middle ages, in mind. All the while, as profit shares increase, looking toward increases in the Collectives Savings Fund, each year, that holds long-term retirement shares, similar to an Ira.
Basic Facet Rules
Vowel endings such as Y or I or E are the same, if they are pronounced equally.
Phonetic sounding inclusions: Beau or Vaux, from ancient names, are as close as the same to be in one group, as well as other fun interesting possibles; The Beaux (Baux) group having boats with a flat bottom and the Vaux group having boats requiring a deeper keel.
Multiple Facet Names:
If you have several castle surnames such as Roche and Guyon:
Then you can participate in the Roc group and the Guy group for any local business decisions for the group.
Such as, upgrading any Roc Chateau to another star hotel, a three star to a 4 star, or not.
Double Facet Names:
If a castle has 2 names, well, then it usually goes into the first facet group.
Such as; the Roche-Guyon chateau, it ends up in the Roc group. However, the "Guy" group can also participate in local business decisions for the Roc-Guy castle in question, but not all of the Roc castles, unless they are a Roc surname also.
The Averaged Facet Shares:
Facet share yearly profits, are to be issued, on across the scale averages, for "all of the Castles", for that particular country*. Therefore, double facet name holders are treated the same as single facet name holders. (*France, initially)
Facet List
Relax! in your French surnamed Excitements:
This list does not include all Chateaus, and ruined Chateaus. However, it is enough to begin with. In time, I intend to also include, aside from our dear France, and a few other countries.
Facet List Grouping
The list will be condensed a little further, to simplify the bookkeeping and keep with approx. a 10 castle min. per facet.
The main Chateau* database, sorted by cantons and regions. (*not all are listed.).... xlsx or google sheet.
The Baronnee Facet Names
If you don't qualify in the Castle name categories.
Try the Regional Facet Names, on the second list and if you're named after a Region of France, such as "Vau", in "Vaucluse"... You're invited to be a voting participant, toward any major Castle decisions in your region, regardless of the Castles Facet Surname:
Similar to a Baronies voting powers of the past. However, a limit will be placed on the number of Barons and Baronesses, so that the original Facet Castle surname holders still are able to keep at least 50% of the vote.
In Halt-Vote decisionals, (50-50 stalemates), well, votes from 2 other facets in the region get to be the deciding vote.

Updated Close of these EU Castle Collective Minutes

In conclusion of tonights meeting;
The creation of "the Facet List of Castle Names" and "Baronnee Facets names".
In order to create larger facets, for a castle directory and groups, while still maintaining some consciousness order, over each original castle's name.

Genealogy Excerpts: King Lines of Europe Database

Catherine De Vaux was Incorrect!

Genealogy - Neville Line to the Kings of England
As time tiptoes by, Henry Neville and Catherine Vaux were not parents of George Neville through to the Berkeley line
I had all kinds of data for Catherine de Vaux, and Isabela Vaux, maybe it is still useful to the Vaux's, her line is in my database to the far left and far right.
The dates just did not correlate, with the Catherine Vaux line. This past year and a year ago major new updates occurred. I have had to boot out several long time holds, even the Piggotts.
This time I included, a couple of "genealogy database link's" to the dastardly occasion, where names meet and fall... just prior a Kingdom of England found. Geniweb.com also correlates with the updated data.
Ralph-de-Neville-1st-Earl-of-Westmorland and Joan Beaufort of Westmorland, where Joan's Grandfather Edward was the King of England.
Edward Neville, 3rd Baron of Bergavennyand Elizabeth Beauchamps
George Neville, 4th and de jure 2nd Baron Bergavennyand Margaret Fenne
Elizabeth Berkeley (de Neville)and husband, Sir Thomas Berkeley, Knight of Beverstone Castle
Genealogy has even been a war at times, to my commitment, of being a Queen.
The reckles of naysayers, to my commitments and endurances, that play their journey only upon a name in sequence. Well, today I have won again, and remain "a named descendant" to the course they perturb in being.
Sad, I do not have an army at my side, at the moment, to wear them thin of hair at living with named objectives as their only offer.

EU Castle Collective Budget

The Budget

As the falls of income surmount;
the spendings upon their whereabouts and direction must be noted:
The Ghost Tax and Shares
As previously stated, the income derises from the 25% matched tax from the EU and also share purchases from the Collectives Facet named participants.
Tax deferred
The Collective itself does not gain forth quickly, when taxes bevey down our direction.
Perhaps leaders of banking will help us out, and we can substantiate a sound savings-to-usage model, in a non ferverant country of the EU, such as Switzerland, Luxembourg or Lichtenstein. With Internal country spends, for stones, etc. also paid through the external country with the simpler non-tax jurisdiction.
In France, the rules have been: that during "the build" stage, the event was classed as non-taxable. Which may look good at first, however, it does not include a viable pension for its participants with a shares program.
Therefore, the answer is to store our nest eggs for this incredibly arduous task, appropriately.

Advertising at Schools

To build our organization with a young and active learned class.
Especially with summer-work recruits. That means; advertising in Colleges and Universities.
Department locations being where they are most interested with their studies. Such as, with the French and English studies departments, as well as the History and Arts departments. The advertising costs should be minimal either online through their college websites or on-campus newspaper alternatives.
Other Advertising
Oddly student participation often speaks to it's parents.
So, I wouldn't even bother advertising elsewhere past the colleges themselves.
If tensions worry our participation ranks, well, then Genealogy database websites, would be a second advertising option.

Ruin and Castle Supply Costs

From Stones to Authentic wooden lintels, doors and drawbridges. This sector of spending will be only for the building supplies themselves. Which in the event, donors who want to give an extra financial incentive, even from The EU itself, in order to finish a towns particular castle, well they can then, direct their monies to the building supply costs only.
On-site Costs
With the start of a ruins stone builds commencing in the Spring,
April- May - June - July - August - September - October.
Will be for stone raising, and the Winters will finish each Chateaus design touches.
On-site Builder Habitation
From tepees, yourts (yurts) with winter stoves. Mobile campers, if hidden from the rest of us. As they spoil our decent adventure of historical return.
Other on-site costs
Water supplies and electricity sources, kitchens and bathroom facilities.
In many cases, the latter, called electricity will be problematic, due to cliffs and other difficult terrain locations.
Large cranes are expensive, and very modern. The old way was scaffolding, and dirt-mounted building sides to the wall raises (that was removed later), although cranes will be used from time to time.
Rooftops
In extremely dangerous rooftop situations. In some cases, the authentic castle will not be able to be built as an exact replica, due to the rareness of skilled rooftop laborers. Therefore, in certain situations, simpler designs will fashion this castle building era.
Facet Workers
As our Facet holder workers are profit-share participants, they do not ever receive a direct salary.
Their salary is from their own with-drawls taken from their current share portfolio, held with the EU Collective Castle Shares Fund.
So, what may appear as nominal at first with just free room and board, later becomes a yearly profit flow.
And that profit flow depends on how much has been withdrawn or put into the account, throughout each facet holders lifetime.
Non-facet Laborers
As our Facet holder workers do not receive a direct salary, only from the EU Collective Castle share increases.
The salary output is minimized substantially.
Non-facet named workers, that are a necessary inclusion to complete a Chateau ie, will be paid a salary, as normal.
Conclusion
Tough ending for some of you, who prefer a salary right now.
Just a "Live and Work" habitation environment, with less luxuries, as a Crofter was in Scotland, is really who the majority of us will be.
With monies slowly building, after each Summers entertainment profits and Winter's "Snowy Dream Parties" for the Rich.

EU Castle Collective Shares

The Facet Shares

The shares are defined within the images below. Shares from student-workers, over the summer up to 5 star accommodations, share participation.
The facets surnames defined, are specific to the names of Europe's Castles, getting back to the original heritage owners.

Travel Costs

Travel costs are not included, however with a group as large as this, chances are quite high we can also run a small private airline company, specifically for our EU Castle Collective Citizens. International flights from the United States to Nantes, in example, or to other smaller International airports, and eventually around the EU.
Reason being, aside from creating a different experience for our EU Facet Collective, there will be enough shareholders, as workers and tourists that will warrant the obligation of air transportation services. also.

The "Who" can be a Shareholder?

This question is answered in the image below, yet, I know it plagues some of you, with immediance of answer. and well if you qualify as a decent enough human being and have a French last name, that contains a Facet. or if your blood-lined ancestor had the French Facet last name,
Then you can join the Castle Collective. This EU Collective is not limited to Royals only, or blood-lined surname heirs.
However, for a property Chateau sale, there will be certain preferences to those persons of a Royal King blood-line over the others. As our objective is not to create a mixture of what already is, and then re-categorize it, but rather to retain the dignity of our historical possessions.
Stating we are just a group of people who want Chateaus, devalues us in others eyes. Because persons of non-royal blood, will not have the same determination factor or reverence for the Castles and the Castle's objects.
Also a mixed group of citizens does not have the same political identity around the world as a royal group, who is more directionally motivated in its purpose. Not to barter Americas tactics of democracy away, but a Kingdom is not a democracy filled with stranded opinions into a failed voting box. But a more organized potential when handled properly.

The next page is directed towards the Budget of the EU Castle Collectives, Operating costs and expenses.
All of which, is run through "the Ghost Tax" and Share Purchases from members of the collective, as mentioned in the above images.

The European Union Castle Collective

windsor castle
Windsor Castle, from my ancestors.

The Creation of the EU Castle Collective

Prospectus:
The objective of the collective is for the rebuild and maintenance of all castles and chateaus within the EU, however in the sparse early beginnings, I am thereby starting with France.
The EU Castle Collective;
brought to you through my Capetian Dynasty heredity, (The Vaux Kingdom, Kingdom of France) is defined as:
and is for specified for:
Surnamed descendants; from the names of Chateaus and Castles, meaning the Chateau or Castle name is either in your current last name or one of your ancestors last names (surname).
Persons non-blood lined, that are also named after one of the chateaus, as with a current French last name, of Fontaine ie, are also allowed to be participants.
Repairs Taxation: "The Ghost Tax"
A 25 % property-repair tax* from the EU Castle Collective, is applied to each Chateau sale, (ie, 1,000,000 to 1,250,000 as a buyers price increase), however, it increases the sale price, only temporarily.
The 25% tax amount, is matched by the EU, which finally releases the EU from further historical duties.
The EU Collective Tax, held through a Savings Account Fund***, then goes toward the repairs and rebuild costs of all** of Europe's Ruins and Castles. In certain cases, the EU may allocate more spending over and above the 25% tax, in order for a sale of a Chateau to go through. As long as the EU Government (European Community) is cleared from future encombrances within its budget.
the Ghost Tax
*For the collective buyer, it is merely a "Ghost tax", that they do not actually pay, because the EU pays the tax. In this video, however, I have not yet mentioned, this fun ghost tax, being a non-requirement for collective participants.
**Included: Castles, Chateaus or Palaces
1. All personal residences, classed as Castles, Chateaus, Palaces, of historical value and consequence. Upon those resales, finalized sales are to be processed through the EU Castle Collective.
2. Other normally known and stated as a Castle, Chateau, Palace, Fort or Abbey, that are used for businesses, and/or other tourist obligations.
**Not included: Castles, Chateaus or Palaces
If a Castle, Chateau or Palace belongs to a Sovereignty or Kingdom, already, such as with Denmark, then it is not included with the Collective, because they already have their taxation authority for care and keeping. It will be their prerogative to join, as their repairs budget handling will relinquish into the Collectives keep.
The guidance and maintenance keep decisions being from heirs of the particular palaces themselves.
Newer palaces since Napoleon III in 1870, as materials have changed.
Castles held by Military personnel within the EU.
Materials Supply
Under the topic of material and supply purchasing power. As the stones themselves often come from a castles region, in certain cases the purchasing power will be lessoned. Although in many cases, I believe newer methods, and even the usage of thinner walls will help to lesson rebuild costs. As it's better to have their walls built, rather than derelict the past.
Wood supplies, also can be handled correctly and purchased-only through environmentally sound businesses.
Surname Descendant Intentions and Obligations:
The EU Castle Collective is intent on assuring dedicated ownership, for the original surnamed descendants of the castles.
~~~
A group of persons with strong vestiges and associations of rights and respectabilities, for their inherited, dominion estates, antiquities, and priories, that were reasoned into being, from their original ancestors.
My Included Data and Research
As "The Collective" is set to be a vast group containing all of Europe's castles,
this particular website contains information regarding; Castles, Palaces and Chateaus from "The Capetian Queen of France, Therese". Which is Merely, a beginning hop... to an larger independent website for "The EU Castle Collective".
-------EU Castle Collective Minutes-------
The Website's Design
First, each country of the EU will be listed separately,
then, the castle group of facet surnames,
then, a questionaire for descendants of the surnames to join:
The Surname Castle Pages:
After "The list of Originating Facet Surnames", with original names: such as the French; Vau, Fon, Guy, Roc (Roq), Ber. in a table with a link list.
In the page layout, each originating surname page, contains it's group of chateaus and castles.
The Facet Explanations:
The facets are from the castles or chateaus themselves and not normally only a surname.
ie. Gombervaux chateaus go into the Vau Chateau category.
Also many regional dialect and phonetic sounding names are included with the facet, for instance; like Beaux, Baux under the Vau category.
Some countries are difficult such as Britain, as many castles are surnamed-only once, with no other castles sharing name of origin. aside from the "inghams" style, every so often.
Therefore, the main focus of the Collective will first be on France, as it has an easier castle-grouping surname system, rather than one-by-one.
Chances are higher, the romance language countries, like Spain and Italy, run their surnames very similarly.
Also the Rocco, for example is with many Italian castle names, and although it shares the Roc origin, it is better to keep separate, from France. Therefore, that facet of Roc is grouped with castles from Italy, for website organization purposes.
and ...At this time, I am not working on the Rocco's of Italy.
Each Individual Surname Page:
These pages contain, a list of Chateaus, and a sign-up process for persons of that surname, such as Roc.
The sign-up contains questions about the persons heredity line, and Intentions:
Questionaire for Surname Descendants:
Using "Roc" for these questions:
Generations:
1. Are you of a Royal blood line? If so, what name is the most recent King or Queen in Europe that you descend from. Further documentation, such as genealogy records, (normally run through the Mormon church.) may be needed as proof.
2. Are you from a peerage class, a non-royal blood line, such as a Baron, who's sister husband's line was a royal blood line, leading to a King or Queen?
3. What generation were your ancestors a Roc? (Roq) (.ie).
Ownership Shares and Intentions:
1. To be a Ruine Builder for any of the EU Collective Chateaus by joining a work crew group, ...that travels castle to castle, and lives on the estates building site, under temporary conditions, while inhabiting yurts or other short term housing fixtures.
The live-in work crew groups will have several groups, from the ruins and gardens group, with masons and woods craftsmen and gardeners, to the finishing touches and interior design groups.
Profit shares for these groups, will only be later gleened, when the property is in business-working order.
2. Short term Holiday only 1-2 weeks.
3. Long term Holiday only, 3-12 months
4. Purchasing fully, as an individual Roc owner?
5. To be only a silent partner of a particular Chateau or any of the Roc Chateaus, and earn profit shares.
Which Chateau's?
1. Are there specific Chateaus or ruins you want to purchase? If so please list or "check off" from the available names.
2. Are you willing to purchase any Chateau or ruin, under the Roc surname?
Prices
1. How much are you initially willing to spend toward your Castle Share values? (Share prices are set on the next page).
2. If a full purchase, on an already completed castle,
what business sector do you offer the Collective, ie. Wool goods and distribution, bed and breakfast*.
*advertising for holiday clientele, is run through another business department of the collective.
One good thing to keep in mind if are to be owning out-right,
is that you are added to our Collective's Business Network.
So, in the event your expertise is drawbridges, and we require a few drawbridges kitted, we would buy them from your company.
Business and Profession and Age questions
1. If you want to work for a Roc Chateau, after its built and ready to be lived in or near completion. In what capacity? such as,
Travel guide
brochures
Chef
On-site grounds staff
(including gardener, house chores, wait staff,
animal husbandry; sheep, horses, fowl, etc.),
Castle tourism and Entertainments;
festivals, art shows, ballets, mostly for the public castles.
2. Are you willing to work online-only and stay where you are, rather than move to the Castle's Country?
3. Any rare talents or artisan craft skills, such as:
Author
Ballerina
Carpenter
Chef
Cliff Climbing Sportsman
Interior Designer
Opera Singer
Private pilot
Ship captain
Stain Glass Artisan
Stone modeler
Weaver
4. If you have any professional skills, such as being:
an Architect, Doctor, Lathes-man, Office worker or a Lawyer?
5. How old are you?
6. How many physical hours of work, per day are you comfortable with? in hours:
1-3 strenuous, 1-8 strenuous,
1-3 active tasks, 1-8 active tasks,
1-3 light tasks, 1-8 light tasks.
Language Preference:
1. You do not have to speak French or other languages, it all depends upon your work obligation with the collective.
However in certain professions, such as a Berber Sheep Shepard, you may find yourself indirectly learning french.
Other Questions:
1. Do you already have an EU drivers license from one of the EU States, or are you willing to get one; in the event you are going to live in France as a collective worker.
2. Do you want to be with a group of persons with children or without?
3. Have you already lived in Europe? if so how many years.
Otherwise, what is your hopeful commitment time-frame with your "Roc" collective, a summer, 6 months, a year, or throughout your lifetime.
Final Close of these Minutes
In conclusion of todays meeting;
hopefully something was solved in the direction of the EU Castle Collective.
The creation of "the Ghost Tax", Reduced materials supplies for rebuilds, and the comments form, including a person's profession and work capacities, which helps out in the decisional process.
After 15 years in Europe, mostly in France, much of my time has been living in the scenic undulances, of the sometimes spirited French countryside. Where a Chateau is not a just another Chateau, each has its own individualities with regional aperitifs of affections, brought to you by the original craftsmen and designers.
The Ballerina Fund: Mutual Fund with Profits & Donations
The Creation of a Ballerina and Danseuse Fund;
Prospectus: A profit & non-profit fund Mutual Fund, for retired Classical Ballet dancers in financial need. Shareholders make their normal profits, from purchasing the shares of the fund,
and a small portion of their profits goes towards the donations for the dancers.
Aimed to help support dancers, from the age of 40 or older.
-Company Minutes-
Preferably a Board of Directors and staff that are from The Ballet World*, as they are more familiar with the recipients in question.
Fund Start-Up:
To organize the set of stocks, with a banking instution's brokerage firm, to run the mutual fund. Stocks from a selection pool of various: fine arts, artistic and work-out wear companies, including gyms and ticket sales providers.
The original discussion of the Ballerina fund, only as a non-profit start-up, and not a mutual fund.
Allocating a the Board of Directors to initiate the stock firm towards creating the fund?
...Perhaps, one of you already have a "Ballet World List" of persons ready to decide such stocks. For a short while those Board of Directors*, would have the contacts necessary to start the mutual fund,
After the fund has been created and stocks are traded, it would be nice if dancers could have a higher voting "say" as to which companies should be included. (typically 5-10 stocks).
It would be a "freebie start-up mutual fund," the artistic"Board of Directors", will not be on any pay-scale basis, therefore most likely retired persons who are also philanthropists with their financial work would be the best to help initiate the interesting artistic "Ballerina Fund".
Final Close of these Minutes
In conclusion of todays meeting; nothing can be actually organized yet, without a Board of Directors or persons who can network a banking institution into starting the fund. A fund based upon a set of chosen artistically oriented stocks. (subscription based ticket companies, work-out wear, etc) .
